First thing I would like to say is that English is not my native language. While I don't think my English is extremely bad, I'm sure you'll find typos or wrongly formed sentences scattered around. Please read around them and accept my appologies by forehand. Before I start off with this tutorial, I want you to know what I think is "the right way" of running a TGP. Running a TGP the right way means, that it should be profitable for you. This tutorial doesn't just show you the ropes on how to properly set up a TGP, but also tells you what you need to master before you will ever make good money off your TGP.
To set things straight right away, this is NOT a tutorial about setting up a Fake TGP. Fake TGP's are hard to make profitable, unless you can grow it to a reasonable size in traffic, which requires you to use trading scripts. If you're interested in setting up your own network of Fake TGP's and Feeders, this is not really the right tutorial for you. Don't think you will just be sitting around on your ass though. You need to work for it, one way or the other. I've seen a lot of people bashing around regarding people who are playing with the idea of setting up their own TGP. Also quite a few people who claim there is no real money to be made running your own TGP. These people are partially right. They base their opinions on their own experience and what they've seen happening many many times before: a newbie setting up a TGP without actually knowing what he was up against, and as a result failing in the process. End conclussion: Lots of effort put in -> Nothing in return. Many newbie webmasters have high expectations when they start dreaming about setting up their own TGP. They start full of energy and spirit, thinking they will be The Next Hun, The Next Shemp or The Next Worldsex. However, they soon find out that it isn't all gold that shines. That's the point where they drop out, and are convinced there is indeed no money to be made while running their own TGP. Now, I have a problem with that. These people didn't drop out because there was no money to be made in my opinion. These people dropped out because their expectations were wrong to begin with AND they had no knowledge whatsoever regarding selling fantasies to TGP surfers. You must understand that people like The Shemp and others come from a long way back. These are people who have build a knowledge base in their head that goes beyond your imagination. Furthermore they have established a network of friends during the years while doing what they do best. You cannot compare yourself to these people when it comes to running your own TGP as you simply do not have the resources and knowledge to do so. I know, it's hard, but also the truth. If you are reading this tutorial and think you will be filthy rich in a week from now, don't make the same mistake as I made. In this case, please be convinced there is no money to be made while running your TGP and keep building free sites or galleries as those are the way to make money in a short period of time. This tutorial is about making your OWN TGP, with REAL submitted galleries and actually making some good money in the end. Now, if you expect great returns in a short amount of time, you're reading the wrong thread. (I CANNOT SAY THAT OFTEN ENOUGH!). One thing that I've learned while setting up and running real TGP's is that there is no real easy money. But on the other hand, there isn't any easy money anywhere to be made. Also, I don't want to shatter any dreams (Actually I do), but it will take a while before you actually start setting up your TGP. This is because of 2 reasons really:
Now, having stated most of the negative sides of running your own TGP, now is the time to bail out if you're feeling nausious or understood you actually have to work to make your TGP profitable. You're still here? Let's go then. Let me take your hand and guide you through most of the process in a rough way. Make sure you bring your toothbrush and anything else you need because you'll be here for a while. And with a while I mean about 2 years or so. No bullshit. There's also a lot of things that you will learn during the next 1 and a half year that will simply need to be learned by doing. I could write them down here, but that would just confuse you most likely and make you turn your back quicker than a fart can leave my ass. Don't worry too much about it and just go with the flow. You will have your annoyances and you will have your triumphs if you stick with the program.
In case you think I made a typo regarding the estimated time of completion of 9 months for the preperation (!), feel free to re-read the Introduction above and bail out. The first thing we're going to do is learn to convert TGP traffic. Don't worry. If okay you should be making some money in the process. You might be making so much money actually, that you'll soon forget about running your own TGP and just keep making galleries for the rest of your online life. So how are we going to master this art? By actually pulling the sleeves up and doing it! We will be building galleries folks. Hooray! (And you thought you would be having your very own TGP up in a few minutes, ROFL!). Please be aware that nobody can really teach you how to convert TGP traffic, often considered the worst kind of traffic around. I completely disagree with that statement however, as I do around 1:350 to 1:450 at this very moment with TGP traffic in various niches. (Yes, even the dreaded Teen niche). Some things you should always remember when you're trying to convert TGP traffic:
There are quite a few tutorials around Netpond that delve deeper into how you need to build your galleries in order for them to be effective. There's some great help out there folks. Grab it by the balls and put it to good use. Also don't be affraid to ask your sponsor's representative for help to convert their sites if you're having difficulties.
An example:
Day 1: Teen Template 1 & Asian Template 1 Do this every day, around the same time, every day a little bit later. This will get you the most submits. When you're on Day 10, it's review time. There are 2 scenarios there:
In case of the first scenario, you're on track. Continue doing your daily submits as shown in the example. In case of the second scenario, something is not right. This can be various things. It could be that you're not getting listed for whatever reason. It could be that the surfers don't click through to your sponsor site. (in other words, your sales technique ain't working). It could be that the surfers are clicking through, but don't like your sponsors tour. In any way, find out what it is, change it and continue doing your submits as shown in the example above. A word to the wise: NEVER EVER change ANYTHING on a gallery you already submitted. Only make changes to the templates that still need to be submitted! When you're on Day 20, it's review time again. 2 scenarios again:
In case of the first scenario, you're still right on track. In case of the second scenario, something is still not right. Find it, fix it. I'm really sorry but I can't really be of much help there. You need to learn how to convert the niches you picked. There is no easy way. Do it and learn. Don't feel sad that you've failed untill now. It's all a learning process. You'll get the hang of it. When you're on Day 30, it's review time again. Once again, the 2 scenarios.
In case of the first scenario: Congratulations. You did well for your first month. It looks like you have mastered selling the niches you have been promoting. In case of the second scenario: Shitty deal. But it happens to the best of us. Don't worry about it too much though. Instead, take any free time you have and dig into what makes the niches you're trying to promote tick. Or actually, try to find out what makes the people who like those niches tick. This knowledge is to be used to sell these users the fantasy they're longing for. You'll have about 2 months time to dig into your 2 niches before you will have to put that knowledge into effect.
Month 2 is pretty much the same as month 1, except that you need to pick 2 completely different niches and buy 2 new domains that are to be used for your 2 new niches. Walk through the same process as in month 1 with your 2 new niches and don't forget to review your results every 10 days and take action where needed.
Again, month 3 is very much like the previous 2 months. Pick 2 new niches again (Don't reuse the niches you've used in month 1 & 2) and finish this month as you've done with the previous 2 months.
Alright. This month we're going to use the 2 niches we've done in Month 1. You don't need to get 2 new domains as you can use the same domains you've used in month 1 as well. If you weren't really succesfull with your niches in month 1, I hope you've taken my advice and have been gathering information around the web on how these niches need to be sold. If not, you're obviously not cut for running your own TGP. Or let me word that differently, you MAY run your own TGP, but you're sure as hell won't make any good money off it. Those who are still here have shown the right attitude. This is the attitude you NEED in order to make a good new TGP nowadays and make some good money off your hard work. Make 2 new templates for your 2 niches and fire them away as you did in the previous months. If you weren't successfull in month 1, you should be succesfull this month, because obviously you've learned alot during the last 2 months while gathering information regarding the 2 niches you're promoting again this month.
This month we're using the 2 niches we've also used in month 2. Same deal as month 4 really. I really hope you're making some money now with your galleries, because if you're not, you will have a hard time making money with your own TGP later on.

Do the same niches again as in month 1, 2 and 3, in that order.
Here we are. 9 months later. You, my fellow webmaster, should have pocketted quite some dough in the process. However, you now have something that's more valuable than all the money you've made during these 9 months AND something that is KEY to run your own succesfull TGP: The knowledge on how to convert TGP traffic to hard cold cash within the niches you've been working with. If you have mastered your 6 niches, you will be pretty much running a nice profitable TGP quite soon, but unfortunatly not tomorrow. (Read: soon = aprox. a year from now). So. What have we got at the moment? Well, we have a total of 540 galleries in 6 different niches, which hopefully have been making you money untill now. It's time to put up your TGP. Get yourself a nice general adult domain name. A gimmick always works better. Think about a gimmick and play around with it for a while. A gimmick will help your surfers to remember your TGP and will make them come back. Also make sure your domain name is short and powerfull. As for the design of your TGP, I leave things up to you but here is something that works well:
Your main page will ONLY be listing submitted galleries (for now) and ofcourse show advertisements for sponsor sites within your 6 niches. You will use your elite skills you've developed over the last 9 months to advertise the 6 niches you're king of the hill with. Your niche archive pages will ONLY be listing the galleries you've been submitting the last 9 months, and ofcourse ONLY those templates that actually made you money. If you don't have enough galleries for your archive pages because it took you a while to learn to sell the niche you need to create new galleries with the knowledge you've gained on how to sell that particular niche. Make sure your main page has clear visible links to your niche archive pages. Your surfers are supposed to find your galleries as well. There are a lot of cheaters submitting galleries. People who pull their galleries off their servers after 10 days or so and redirect your traffic to their dialer schemes or popup hells. This is the reason why you MUST only list galleries on your mainpage that have been submitted in the last 7 days. This is most fair for everybody as those that are honest get a piece of the action during those 7 days and those who are out to cheat you will no longer be listed when they pull their links. There is no need to categorise the galleries on your mainpage. Just list them in the order they were submitted. Newest at the top. Make sure that you mention the niche before each link though. You don't want your lesbian surfers to click on the asian galleries. This will frustrate them and leave your site. If you haven't understood the concept untill now: Your main page will be the page that will be generating your traffic (recip traffic) and make your surfers come back regulary as there's always new stuff to be found there. Your archive pages will be making you most of the money in the future, along with the advertisements you have on your mainpage. Time will pass. You'll have lots of fun reviewing galleries submitted by other people and accepting/rejecting/blacklisting them. To cut things short, you'll have the time of your life for about 12 months or so, because that's how long it will take for you to build up a reasonable amount of traffic to turn your newbie TGP into a place people will visit daily for their porn fix. You'll make friends, and you'll make enemies. You'll be going around asking for hardlink trades and you will be asked for hardlink trades by others. Keep building galleries every single day within your 6 niches and list them on the main page and your niche archive pages. Don't forget to put a recip to your TGP on ALL galleries you submit with your AutoSubmitter. It's an extra source of traffic. No matter how attractive it might seem at this point to turn your TGP into a Fake TGP or CJ2, don't. You would have wasted a lot of time for nothing, which is a shame really. You should've thought about that before you started putting in the time and effort you did and should've taken a different path as those are different goals.
Okay. So you're like 1 and a half year later now and you're wondering where all the cash is. At this point in time you should have quite a few unique surfers coming in every day and you should be making a nice amount every month. But, it's most likely not what you were hoping for when you started. This is where you have several options:
The conclusion is indeed that there is money to be made for those who stick with it. Those who are willing to walk the rough path will find that they will have a lot of control when it comes to their income. It's been said before many times by myself and others, and I will say it again: Those who have the traffic, have the money. Running your own TGP has many advantages, especially in the future. As more and more TGP's are going to charge for listing you, you will have your own stream of traffic to feed your galleries, AND you're also in the position to charge others for listing their galleries. All in all this can build a very nice bottomline, which can range anywhere between a few $k per month to a few $k per week, and if you're really a master in what you're doing, even a few $k per day. If you have an established TGP, there isn't much that will destroy it. Traffic will mostly be steady and you don't have to worry about your bottomline. But, as you've read, it ain't something that can be established from today till tomorrow. Rome wasn't build in one day. I hope that reading this tutorial will point those who are really willing to run their own TGP into the right direction, and those who have thought about it but never knew what was involved to drop it before they start. Because if you're really not willing to stick to the plan, you will fail and your invested time will be gone, leaving you behind with the conclusion that there indeed is no money to be made with TGP's.
